Your menu, your hours, your number — and nothing in the way
Describe the place — what you cook, where you are, when you open — and the builder writes the pages and the copy. What comes out is an ordinary WordPress site on your own hosting, which is what you want the week the menu changes.
From $1.56/mo, exclusive of 18% GST. There is no separate builder fee.
What people actually came to your site for
Almost nobody browses a restaurant website. They arrive with a short list of questions, usually on a phone, usually already hungry. Answer these six and the site has done its job.
As text on a page, not a PDF. A PDF menu is the single most common mistake on a restaurant site: it downloads instead of opening, it is unreadable on a phone, and no search engine can read a dish out of it. What this produces is web pages, so put the menu in as text.
Opening hours, stated per day, including the afternoon you close. This is the question that sends someone to a competitor when the answer is missing, and the one most likely to be out of date on a site nobody can edit.
An address is not enough in an Indian city. Embed the map pin, name the landmark, say where to park. Add the Google Business Profile too — for a restaurant that listing often gets more traffic than the website.
A number that dials when tapped, a WhatsApp link, and your Zomato or Swiggy links if you use them. Most bookings are a phone call; make the call one tap rather than a form.
Of your food, in your room. Stock photography of somebody else's biryani is obvious to a customer and does more harm than an empty gallery. This is the part no builder can do for you.
Someone standing outside deciding where to eat will not wait eight seconds. Hosting in Mumbai rather than overseas is the cheapest speed improvement available to a site this small.
What it gives you, and what it does not
Restaurant sites come with an expectation of table booking and online ordering built in. This does not have either, and it is better to read that here than to find it out after paying.
- A complete site built as web pages — nothing here hands you a PDF to upload
- Hours, address and contact details on every page
- A gallery for your own photos, and copy describing the food you actually serve
- A WordPress site you own, with no builder subscription
- Your own domain, or a subdomain while you decide
- Take table reservations — there is no booking engine and no seating calendar
- Take orders or payments, or connect to Zomato and Swiggy. Those are links you add
- Talk to your POS or KOT system
- Offer a restaurant template — there are four layouts, and a restaurant gets the business one
- Write a menu you can publish unread. Prices and allergens are yours to check
Want real bookings or ordering on your own site? That is a build — talk to the team.
Where the site actually runs
On your own Cloud account in Mumbai, on the same platform every other Cloud plan runs on. Someone standing on the pavement deciding where to eat is not waiting on a server in another hemisphere to load your menu, and the invoice carries a GSTIN.
Because it is WordPress rather than a closed builder, changing a price or pulling a dish is an ordinary edit. Nothing has to be migrated later if you outgrow it.
- No separate builder subscription
- Free SSL and daily backups on the plan
- Hosted in Mumbai (MUM-01)
- Editable in WordPress from day one
- GST invoice with your GSTIN
