The licence, stated once
The Windows Server instance licence is free for your first 180 days. After that you activate it with a licence key of your own, and we do not bill it either way.
That is the whole policy. There is no line item for it on your invoice at any point, which is why a Windows instance and a Linux one cost the same here. If you already hold a licence through your own agreement, bring it — nothing on our side needs to change.

The question we get asked before every Windows order. Sized by what the workload actually consumes rather than by what we would prefer to sell — start lower and move up, because moving up costs only the difference for what is left of the month.
