What FastPanel is
FastPanel is a server control panel aimed at people running several sites on one machine. It manages web server configuration, PHP versions, databases, mail, DNS and certificates from a browser, and it is free for unlimited sites.
Its distinguishing habit is isolation: each site is created under its own system user with its own PHP-FPM pool. That matters when the sites are not all yours. A compromised WordPress install on one site cannot read another site's files, and one site exhausting its PHP workers does not starve the rest.
It supports NGINX in front of Apache, or NGINX alone, and lets different sites run different PHP versions simultaneously — useful when a legacy application is pinned to 7.4 while everything else is on 8.3.

How deployment works
FastPanel installs onto a clean OS image and builds its own web server, PHP and database stack. You receive the panel URL and initial credentials, plus root over SSH. Restrict the panel port to your own address before the machine carries anything live.
